POW Percussion's 2023 show depicts some of the inhumane treatments society previously encountered while treating individuals struggling with mental health. The show is not meant to glorify these archaic practices, rather to put into perspective progress made in reducing stigma associated with mental health illness. We are aware of some of the concerns and are taking them into account as we develop the show.
