Coordinator
PULSE/POW PERCUSSION - Media Coordinator
In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Programs, Pulse Ensemble Director, and work closely with the Administrative, Marketing, and Media teams to oversee and coordinate all photography, videography, and content production efforts. You will ensure consistent branding, timely delivery of media, and smooth collaboration across creative and administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the work of photographers, videographers, and other media staff to ensure coverage of rehearsals, performances, and special events
Create and manage a seasonal media schedule, assigning staff to rehearsals, shows, social media campaigns, and promotional projects
Review, edit, and approve photo and video content for quality control and brand consistency before release
Work with the Marketing team to plan and execute campaigns, member features, and recruitment content
Manage file organization, archiving systems, and long-term storage for all photos and videos
Ensure all media staff follow ensemble and circuit compliance rules (permissions, releases, copyrights)
Coordinate livestreams, projection, or multimedia elements for performances as needed
Serve as primary point of contact for external media partners, vendors, and licensing requests
Assist in troubleshooting media-related issues (equipment, workflow, file delivery)
Provide clear communication and direction to media staff, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are understood
Qualifications:
Proven experience coordinating media teams or managing creative projects in live events, sports, or performing arts
Strong understanding of photography and videography production workflows (shooting, editing, delivery)
Proficiency in media software (Adobe Creative Suite: Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
Previous experience in WGI, DCI, or performing arts media preferred
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for transportation to local rehearsals and shows
Ability to work weekends (Sept.–May), work outdoors in variable climates, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds
Access to personal laptop with editing/management software required
