PULSE/POW PERCUSSION - Photographers & Videographers
In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Programs, Pulse Ensemble Director, and work closely with the Administrative and Media teams to capture, edit, organize, and deliver high-quality photo and video content for rehearsals, competitions, and promotional use. Multiple positions may be filled to complete the following:
Responsibilities:
Capture high-quality photography and videography of rehearsals, performances, and candid moments
Edit and deliver photos and videos in a timely manner, adhering to brand and style guidelines
Provide content for marketing, recruitment, and social media campaigns, including short-form and long-form video projects
Assist with livestreaming, real-time video capture, and multimedia projects as needed
Manage photo/video permissions, media releases, and ensure compliance with ensemble/circuit guidelines
Organize and archive large volumes of media files for long-term storage and easy retrieval
Collaborate with designers, marketing staff, and other creative personnel to maintain a cohesive visual identity
Assist with setting up and breaking down photo/video equipment at rehearsals, competitions, and special events
May include supporting projection or multimedia show elements as required
Qualifications:
Experience in live event, performance, DCI/WGI experience preferred or sports photography/videography (portfolio required)
Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, stabilizers, audio gear, and editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve)
Strong organizational skills for handling large batches of files under quick turnaround deadlines
Ability to problem-solve in dynamic environments (low lighting, fast movement, weather challenges, audio capture)
Access to personal photography/videography equipment is preferred (cameras, lenses, microphones, stabilizers, laptop for editing)
Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for transportation to local rehearsals and shows
Previous experience with WGI, DCI, marching arts, or live performance documentation strongly preferred
Weekends from Sept. to May, be at least 22 years of age, able to work outdoors in a variety of climates, and lift up to 50 pounds
